How to Get Started:

• Submit photos and item details through our online valuation form

• Email us at info@edwinsauctions.co.uk please attach clear photos that show as much of the item your wishing to sell as possible. 

• Schedule an in-person valuation by calling 01773 485493

Consignment Process

Once your item has been valued and accepted for auction, we’ll walk you through the consignment agreement, which outlines:

• Sale estimate

• Reserve price (if applicable)

• Commission rates - 20% including V.A.T.

• Sale timing and auction category

Preparing for Auction

Our team will handle every detail to present your item at its best. This may include:

• Professional photography

• Cataloguing and research

• Marketing and promotional placement

• Display in pre-sale exhibitions

We aim to position each item for maximum visibility and competitive bidding.

During the Auction

You can follow the auction live online or attend in person. We'll notify you of the final hammer price once your item sells.

If your item does not sell, it can be allocated to the next sale or removed from sale at no cost. 

Payment & Settlement

Once the buyer has paid in full, you’ll receive your proceeds minus commission. Settlement typically occurs within 10 business days of the auction date.

You’ll receive:

• A full breakdown of sale results

• Payment via bank transfer 

• Copies of relevant documentation for your records
