Our History

EDWINS is a family business named in honour of my late son Edwin. It is led by myself Liam Shaw, Robbie Huxley and world famous snooker star Ronnie O’Sullivan. We are a new take and a fresh integrity for the auction process. 
EDWINS is born out of a love of antiques, collectibles and memorabilia. Having auctioned everything from Antique furniture to First Edition comics and classic cars Liam brings a modern view and knowledge to auction your items whatever they may be. EDWINS will be built on an open, honest and straight forward process for vendors and buyers with no hidden costs. We have a truly world wide sales platform for perspective vendors whilst being local, friendly and approachable.

Our hope is to create a space where collectors, sellers, and enthusiasts can come together to appreciate, buy, and sell exceptional items.

We've expanded our reach, broadened our categories, and deepened our expertise across a wide range of collecting areas. Along the way, we've handled everything from everyday treasures to rare exciting finds. 

People First

EDWINS will support local charities and offer educational history visits for schools and work experience opportunities for local young adults setting out on their careers. 

Liam has worked up from being a porter in an auction house to owning his own, if EDWINS can offer someone a clear path to working in the antiques trade we would be happy to do so. We believe EDWINS brings a modern view and wealth of knowledge to the trade, and we would be honoured to pass on this knowledge to the next generation of auctioneers and valuers.
