Q: Do I need an account to participate in an auction?
A: Yes, all bidders must create an account and complete the registration form before participating in any auction.

Q: Are auctions open to the public?
A: Yes, unless otherwise stated, our auctions are open to the public both in person and online.


Buying at Auction

Q: How do I place a bid?
A: Bids can be placed in person, by phone, by commission bid, or through an online bidding platform. 

Q: Is there a buyer’s premium?
A: Yes, a buyer’s premium is added to the final hammer price. This fee is 20% including V.A.T. bidding online may differ depending on the bidding platform. Please see the Buyers Guide for more information. There are no hidden costs.

Q: What forms of payment are accepted?
A: We accept major credit cards, wire transfers, checks, and in some cases, digital payments. Payment terms will be included in the invoice.

Q: What happens if I win an item?
A: You will receive an invoice shortly after the auction ends. Once payment is received, we’ll work with you to arrange shipping or pickup.


Selling at Auction

Q: How do I consign an item for auction?
A: Simply bring your item for valuation using our online form, or call to schedule an appointment with one of our specialists.

Q: What types of items do you accept?
A: We specialise in fine art, jewellery, antiques, rare collectibles, and more. If you're unsure whether your item qualifies, contact us for a free consultation.

Q: Are there fees to sell at auction?
A: Yes, sellers are charged a sellers premium of 20% including V.A.T. We do not charge for valuations, cataloguing, or lotting. All fees are discussed upfront, there are no hidden costs

Q: When do I get paid?
A: Payment is typically issued within 10 business days after the auction, assuming we have received full payment from the buyer.


Shipping & Pickup

Q: Do you offer shipping?
A: Yes, we offer shipping through trusted third-party providers. Shipping estimates can be provided upon request.

Q: Can I pick up my item in person?
A: Absolutely. Pickup is available by appointment at our location. Please bring a valid ID and your invoice.


Policies & Terms

Q: What is your return policy?
A: All sales are final. We encourage all prospective buyers to request condition reports or preview items before bidding.
